This Week in the Kitchen: Sunday Pumpkin Party
I think I am starting to get used to bad weather and moreover I start finding some positive things in it. Things like gathering with friends, cooking pumpkin, shooting pictures, eating and decorating cupcakes.
This Sunday, we quickly organized a pumpkin party. It wasn’t difficult at all. Just bounced few emails during the week, clarifying when and where, who will bake pumpkin and after all what we will made with it.
Sleeping until late on Sunday morning, voting and here we are at the queue in the local supermarket. With cheese, butter and decorating stuff, we are directing towards A’s apartment, who was again very kind to invite us in her home and for whom you have already read here and here.
Why pumpkin, one might ask? Because Halloween is coming soon and pumpkins are everywhere during this part of the year. And although this is not a Bulgarian holiday and I am not very fond of it, we used it as a reason to cook with pumpkin. And we did not regret - it was so delicious.

Pumpkin Cappuccino
I would dare to rate the stuff according one main criteria- deliriousness.
Without any comments, the winner is the pumpkin cream soup, served with soft goat cheese and roasted pumpkin seeds.
Cupcakes were second. And even I don’t want to admit it - the pumpkin cappuccino remained at the third and last place. I can’t believe that nobody liked it, although it was planned to be so irresistible ...... and I had such hopes on it. Anyway, it was not so bad, lets say that it is for true pumpkin lovers. If you are one of them, just try it !
